Get American Express Blue.
Because whatever you charge in a month you have to pay it off at the end of the month. Which will keep you from charging too much. -
Actually, besides that being a really good excuse to get a credit card, having one does nothing for your credit score.
Credit card companies do not report anything to the credit bureaus, at all.
When you have a credit card, even the credit card company doesn’t care how well you pay it off, they look at how much you HAVEN’T used compared to your total limit.
SO, just be real careful with a credit card. If you know you can’t pay it off by the end of the month, DONT GET ONE.
..of course, you wont believe me, but you’ll see how fast it adds up.

Any large bank will do. You want as low as interest rate as possible, no-to minimal fees, and you dont want to use it much. Maybe 20 dollars a month, pay it off in full monthly…By the way, the best thing to really do, is when you get the credit card, destroy it. Forget you even have it,,,,have a few like that, one you barely loose, and get an installment loan when you can afford one. You will have a great fico in no time.

Credit cards have become a necessity in society nowadays, you can’t go anywhere without having to use one. That’s why it’s imperative to maintain a good credit rating and use your credit card smart. Lots of credit card related question been asked here and yours just another one. Check out this website and it may answer your question,
After all, without a credit card, it’s harder to live, and especially hard to shop online. Lots of credit card related questions are often being asked and yours is just another one. Credit cards are great to use as long as you control them They are useful, helpful, and make buying things a whole lot easier. But it’s important to remember that people go into thousands of dollars of debt because of them, and the same thing could happen to you

hmm this is tricky
vanquis and aqua credit cards are cards designed specifically for people with low credit ratings or are new to credit. also try capital one. the limits are low until they see you pay on time and also the apr is high so only use them to buy something and pay it back striaght away, so you dont pay interest. these are the best ways to build your credit rating.
i would also reccomend not applying for more than 3 bits of credit in 6 months period and be cautious reapplying because it looks bad on your credit file as you lose points everytime you apply
you could try your bank but your probs best using one of the three i mentioned
also try moneysupermarket.co.uk and it will tell you whats best for a new credit rating
good luk and PLEASE be responsible

I would not do that online. I would go directly to the bank and get a credit card with them, or I would arrange to have an application form from such a credit card place like Visa or American Express sent to me. Also I would go for only one card, one of the major ones (Visa or whatever) and NOT one with one of those big box stores or department stores: huge fees and interests etc. They’re already bad enough with the regular credit card companies if you don’t pay the balance when due on time.

Check out bankrate.com.
Credit card companies do report to the credit bureaus as they are required to do so by law.
Basically it depends on your usage and how you will be utilizing the card. Paying in full every month is great. The Amex Blue though doesn’t give you much cash back until you spend $6000 when it begins to give 5% back on gas, groceries and drug stores. In fact, most cards with benefits have annual fees and higher interest rates.
If you are just starting out, try to find a card with a zero interest rate for 6 months to a year. Then as you get older and have the means to spend more, get a rewards card like the Chase SW Visa if you use their airline or the Amex Blue. I have both.

there are a couple of ways you could start building credit, you could get a small personal loan which you might need a cosigner or the best way will be getting a credit cards, you could get a credit card and use it for your every day expenses but make sure you pay in full at the end of the month that way it will show pay in full everytime the credit card company reports to the credit beuros. At the begining you will only be approved for the lower end credit cards but once you build credit in about 6-9 months you should be able to apply for a better card with better benefits such as free miles or cash back. Check out and go under bad or no credit section and you will find a few choices. But if you are a student apply of a student credit card these cards have no annual fees and low rates.
