    Hi everyone,

I decided to get a new credit card sometime ago and started searching for information online.
I found loads of these online comparison tools for credit cards b (where you can also apply online). http://www.creditcardapplications.us/ , for instance, was one that looked really nice and reliable.
It was quite useful for me to see the credit cards I liked in direct comparison.
However – here comes my question – I am not sure if those pages are really secure!!

Do you think that it is secure to order your credit card via such a website?

Probably some of you have already used one of those pages – I would appreciate if you could tell me about your experiences.
Right now I am really unsure about what to do!!

    Thanks,
    Owen

When you go to an application the page should be using SSL so it is secure. You can check this by looking at the url if it is then it is secure.

I’ve applied for a few different cards through such sites and have found them to be safe.

Those types of sites generally link to a credit card application page that is secure (encrypted connection) so you don’t have to worry about the personal info you’re entering being intercepted by snoops. You can confirm the secure connection by the little padlock symbol in your browser (or the on the front of the URL as previously mentioned).

If you happen to be looking for a rewards card and would like to get the card (or combination of cards) that will pay you the most for your spending profile, you may find this rewards calculator to be useful. It’s the only one of its kind I know of:
