Paypal is safe, it is a division of eBay. You can use your bank account to open a Paypal account.

I would go get prepaid credit/debit card to use. Most online stores also accept credit card gift cards so you go buy one of those as well.

PayPal is safe, it’s huge around the net, just not all sites accept paypal. Also a new feature is Bill Me Later, which you have to be careful of, the first time you use it, you’ll have to provide them with your SS# and they’ll approve you, but you’ll just get a bill in the mail later and if you pay it right off, you’ll be fine, otherwise I’m not sure about the interest rates they have, but they do some promotions 6 mo free interest if you spend so much, so it’s good to look into, When they first popped up a couple years ago they had some kinks, but I’ve used them a couple times and it’s worked well for me, and they’re on a lot of websites now too. Good luck!
