You definitely should be able to find out who did that. Also make sure to contact the credit card company

it’s not your job to investigate this, call the cops and your credit card company immediately. Get that credit card cancelled right away or else they’ll make more purchases.

No but you call your credit card company and put a freeze on your card,
and tell your bank.
