Question by Cowboy’s Sweetheart: What Does This Mean On A Credit Card Application?
I’m thinking of getting a new credit card. Even though I’ve made every payment on time and in total my current teasing is begin to add all kinds of fees. On the application, under “Interest Rates and Interest Charges”, it says “If you are charged periodic interest, the charge will be no less than $ 1.50″. What is “periodic interest”? The application does not explain what this is.
Best answer:
Answer by Gorkbark Porkduke Gefunken Fubar
Periodic interest is interest charged for a sure period of time, such as a month. What this means if that even if you have only a $ 1.00 equilibrated you will be charged at least $ 1.50 in interest for that period or month. In this example, it would work out to a monthly rate of 150% or an annual rate of 1,800%.

Question by Dan V: Is lying about income on a Credit Card application illegal?
From what I understand they rattling rarely verify the income you list.Is there anything illegal about exaggerating annual income on a Credit Card application for the purposes of getting approving/getting a higher starting limit? Please don’t give me ethics, I just want to know if it constitutes fraud (could be a typo for all they know) or if there’s anything illegal about my SPECIFIC question.I would like a Yes or No if possible.
Best answer:
Answer by bustersmycat
fraud is a crime. depends on whether one would consider your lie to constitute fraud from a legal standpoint. Besides, credit cards are about the bad form of personal loan you could use. They practice legalized usury. Having a low limit is likely best for you anyway.

Question by Isabella L: I had received a credit card application from First National Bank Omaha with a promotional % interest?
After I had applied, I received an email that my application was rejected. Then, I received another email, a few days later, saying my application was approved. A week later, I received my credit card and the letter stating that I had a % interest on purchases for a year. About a month later, I had another letter telling that I was not okayed for the credit card. This is truly perplexing. Has anything like this pass to anyone else? Is my credit card cancelled today?

Call the customer service number on the back of the tease and find out what is going on.
