Question by EJM: Chase Online Credit Card Application response?
Received pre-sanction offer in mail for Chase Visa Platinum credit teased, applied online using offer code and received email response after submitted:”We will notify you of your approval status in 30 days by U.S. Mail…etc.”Does anyone have any experience with this kind of response and what it could average? Good sign, are they actually considering the application or is it a bad sign for getting approved? Are online credit card normally applications immediately approved or not? I only have 2 cards, not high limits and good credit score.

I had a similar experience with Washington Mutual. They said that a credit card application could be approved in as little as 30 seconds. However, when I applied they told me that a decision would be sent in the mail. I thought it meant I was declined, but about 2 weeks later I received my card in the mail. Also remember that if you are declined you have the right to receive a free copy of your credit describe. They will instruct you on how to obtain this in the letter they send you.

  • Getting Credit Card Application Online Approval

    Morgan Hamilton asked:

Credit card application online approval is now easier than ever thanks to the Internet. It matters little what type of charge card you are seeking. Whether it’s a small business credit card, a balance transfer credit card, a travel rewards card or a student card to help build a solid credit record, you can apply for any and all of them online.

Let us say for instance that you are seeking a cash rebate offer. You would then go online and use a credible site that allows you to compare the various deals to see which ones offer you the financial benefits and services that best suits your needs. We currently recommend using Find-Cards-Now.com for its security, ease of use and excellent selection.

Depending upon the offer, credit card application online approval can happen in an instant, or it could be several days for the bank or credit card company to process your application. If you have a strong credit record then you can rest assured that you will more than likely be quickly approved for just about any charge card of your choice.

Your options are many. All of the major banks and credit card issuers allow you to apply for credit cards online. These include banks such as Bank of America, Chase and Citibank, as well as credit card companies like Discover Card, Visa, and Mastercard. As stated before, there is really no shortage of offers to choose from, including secured and debit cards.

When reviewing the deals that interest you, be sure to carefully look over the details of each offer. Some important questions to ask are: is it an introductory offer, are there any annual fees, what kind of customer service does it offer and are you completely protected from unauthorized use and fraud. It is very important to know the terms of service.

In the modern age, the World Wide Web has changed the way we do things dramatically. It has made the sharing of products and information quite convenient for us all. Managing our finances, whether it be online banking, or getting credit card application approval for that new platinum card with all the great travel rewards, has also greatly benefited.

    Copper asked:

I have an online credit card account (at, let’s say Chase), and I have a $600 credit card statement, and I have three weeks to pay it off. If I pay $150 right away and $450 a week after the statement date, will they report a late $450 payment to the bureaus or will I be all paid off as long as I pay the statement balance before the grace period ends?

  • WHy is it taking 30 days to get a response from an online credit card application?

    Joe asked:

I applied online yesteray for my first credit card and they said I would get a response within 30 days. Why does it take so long? Is it because I have no credit and it was a student credit card? Also, I said I had both savings and a checking account but right now I only have a savings but will be getting a checking account on Saturday. Is it ok that I said I had both a checkings and a saving? Will it make them reject my application? Are they eager to give a credit card to someone like me, a young person likely to give them money for interest? I am just anxious about the whole thing. I am going to be responsible with it because I am careful with all my money.
also I didn’t know what they meant by residence when they asked rent or own? do they seriously expect me to pay for rent at this age? So I selected “Other” and put zero paid month;y for my residence because that is what I pay, I mean I help my mom out sometimes but thats it.
lol iceman, I said I made 6K a year because that is what I made in 2005
well it was labled a student credit card….being wary should be expected of them if they think this.
    yeah it was CHASE
what is the purpose of advertising student credit cards then?? they are designed for people like me who have no creidt. thanks for not answering my question.
